In a relationship between the ship and the water we all are aware that both cannot function without each other. Similarly, human relations are also like a ship when waves (difficulties) dash onto the
ship, it doesn’t break, it just shakes a little.
Usually, when we think of being close to people, we often think that the relationship has to be completely transparent. However, this does not hold true always. One must also keep in mind that apart from transparency, boundaries too can embrace the relationship.
Just as well-defined boundaries may help the relationships grow fonder, being close to people but at the same giving yourself the privacy that you deserve is important.
To conclude, define your boundaries.
Communicate with them. Stay simple.
Set consequences that will help you not only create a healthy relationship but also will foster change.
