Ingredients :
1 package dry yeast
1 ¼ cup warm water
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp oil
6 ¼ cup flour
Steps :
In a large bowl dissolve, the yeast in the warm water and sugar and cover it with a plate until bubbles form on the surface 9 10-15 mins)
Whisk together the salt and 3 cups of flour.
Stir the oil into the yeast mixture; pour into flour mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour, ½ cup at a time to form a soft ball of dough.
Turn onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, 8-10 mins, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled. 1 ½ hours to 2 hours.
Punch the dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and divide the dough into two. Shape each of the pieces into a loaf.
Place in 2 greased tins and cover and let rise until doubled.
Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Remove from the pans to wire racks to cool.
